The funding is backed by investors from China, Europe, Middle East, and North America. It will advance the integration of high-level cognition and whole-body control, accelerate the deployment of thousands of fully autonomous humanoid robots, and expand LimX Dynamics' global presence.

LimX Dynamics, an embodied AI and general-purpose humanoid robotics company, recently announced a nearly US$200 million Pre-IPO financing round. The company has raised a total of US$400 million over the past six months, marking another milestone in the company's long-term capital market strategy.

New investors include full-cycle global equity investor IDG Capital, global AI hardware manufacturing leader Lens Technology, pan-European multi-industrial and investment group GGG Group and Redstone VC, global high-tech growth fund WestSummit Capital, and Hefei Binhu Industry Development Group. Stone Venture has significantly increased its investment across multiple financing rounds, while existing shareholders including Vitalbridge Capital, CoStone Capital, Nanshan SEI Investment, Shangqi Capital (backed by SAIC Motor), and NIO Capital all made additional investments in this round.

LimX Dynamics Closes Pre-IPO Funding Round

The round attracted a diverse group of strategic and financial investors from across China, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, underscoring growing global confidence in the long-term development of embodied AI and LimX Dynamics' technology roadmap, product portfolio, and globalization strategy.

The new funding will be used to advance the integration of high-level cognition and whole-body control, accelerate the deployment of thousands of fully autonomous humanoid robots, and expand the company's global presence. LimX Dynamics will strengthen its manufacturing and delivery capabilities, grow its presence across key markets in the Middle East, Europe, and other key Asian countries, and continue building an open platform for developers worldwide to accelerate physical AI innovation and commercialization.

LimX COSA 0.5 Update Incoming

As physical AI enters a new phase of commercialization, LimX Dynamics continues to build across the full embodied AI stack, spanning robotics hardware, AI infrastructure, and its embodied agentic operating system. LimX Dynamics' technology architecture consists of three integrated layers:

  • System 0: a foundation model for whole-body motion control;
  • System 1: humanoid VLA/WAM skills and AI infrastructure for model training;
  • System 2: an embodied agentic operating system (COSA), powered by large language models and world models for cognitive reasoning, planning, and autonomous decision-making.演示文稿1_01.png

LimX Dynamics' Three-Layer System

As a key part of LimX Dynamics' System 1, FluxVLA Engine is an enterprise-grade, open-source AI infrastructure platform built for physical AI. It provides developers with a standardized engineering foundation for training, testing, deploying and iterating Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models across the full development pipeline. By abstracting away the underlying engineering complexity, FluxVLA Engine allows developers to focus on model innovation and accelerate VLA development at scale, rather than rebuilding infrastructure.

Built on its self-developed technology stack, LimX Dynamics continues to expand its product portfolio and commercial deployments. Since the commercial launch, it has secured thousands of customer orders across different product lines, with more than half coming from global markets. Together with developers and ecosystem partners worldwide, LimX Dynamics is bringing physical AI to research and education, commercial services, industrial applications, inspection, construction, and other real-world scenarios.

In May, LimX Dynamics introduced LimX Luna, its full-size interactive humanoid robot, to the market. Less than a month after launch, Luna began customer deliveries in China and overseas. Featuring a modular design, flexible APIs, and a comprehensive developer toolkit, LimX TRON 2 has received meaningful orders from developers, research institutions, and enterprise customers worldwide since its launch late last year.20250525_Luna主视频封面16_9.png

Looking ahead, LimX Dynamics will continue advancing the integration of cognitive intelligence and whole-body control while scaling robot manufacturing and expanding its global footprint. It will further strengthen global supply chain and delivery capabilities to accelerate the commercialization of embodied AI. At the same time, LimX Dynamics will continue building an open AI platform and developer ecosystem, working with partners worldwide to bring robots from the lab into real-world applications and unlock the next wave of physical AI at scale.
